アートを通して体感する猿島とその自然
Sensing Sarushima and it’s nature through the art work as a lens.
東京湾で唯一の自然島である猿島に、普段足を踏み入れることのできない夜に、Sense Islandは開催されます。猿島ではカメラやインターネットを遮断し、目、耳、鼻や皮膚から取り入れる情報だけを頼りに島内を巡り、音、光、カタチを発する様々な作品やパフォーマンスを通してもう一度、生物としての自分と自分の持っている本来の感覚を体感して欲しいと考えています。
Sense Island will once again take place on Sarushima, the only natural island in Tokyo Bay, during the nighttime hours when entry is typically forbidden. By sealing away cameras and disconnecting from the internet, I hope that individuals will rely solely on their eyes, ears, nose, and skin as they tour the island and regain their natural instinct and sense as a living being through the various art installations and performances that play with the senses using sound, light, and form.
